The SFYN Tank is a project by the Slow Food Youth Network, a design thinking workshop to find practical solutions that can answer some crucial questions related to food systems.

How can the use of pesticides in agriculture be reduced? How can food delivery services become more sustainable? How can food sovereignty and access to seeds be granted? How can the right to land and sea be granted to indigenous communities? Young activists from all over the world with different backgrounds will discuss this at the SFYN Tank.

The panel will begin by explaining the concepts of transition and innovation in the food system, presenting the workshop methodology and introducing the study cases that the group will work on.

Speakers:

  • Ysabel Calderón, a young beekeeper.
  • Maria Geuze, director SFYN Netherland.
  • Valentina Gritti, community project manager.
  • Andrea Bolognin, coordinator SFYN Global Academy.

Free entry while seats last. We advise you to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure a place.

Terra Madre Salone del Gusto is in Parco Dora, Turin, from September 22-26, 2022, with over 600 exhibitors and a series of workshops, conferences and tastings that show how we can regenerate our planet through food. #TerraMadre2022 is a Slow Food event.
