Videomaking school with the CINE project.
Cinematography can help share important messages around the environment, the problems of the food system and their social consequences. In this meeting the CINE project – Cinema Communities for Innovation, Networks and Environment, comes to Terra Madre to teach young people how to become reporters and activists with their smartphones.
The workshop is led by trainers from the Mobile Film Festival, a competition founded in France in 2005 that challenges aspiring directors to produce a one-minute film on their phone. As part of its activities, the Mobile Film Festival teaches young people aged between 14 and 25 how to use easily accessible devices, like smartphones, to make short films of high quality.
CINE – Cinema Communities for Innovation, Networks and Environment, is a project coordinated by Slow Food and financed the European Union with the contribution of Fondazione CRC.
