Food is political! The economic and financial interests of the big food industry and agribusiness are shaping and limiting the way we produce and eat food, threatening local food systems. In this workshop, we will hear the experience from the Slow Food network advocating for food sovereignty, across the world.

This workshop is open to members of the Slow Food network who want to better understand how to take action to protect local food systems, and call for policies that support food sovereignty and food justice, such as through organizing awareness raising campaigns, opening dialogue with decision makers, or joining mobilizations.

Terra Madre Salone del Gusto is in Parco Dora, Turin, from September 22-26, 2022, with over 600 exhibitors and a series of workshops, conferences and tastings that show how we can regenerate our planet through food. #TerraMadre2022 is a Slow Food event. Free entry.
