From droughts in northern Italy to the enormous increase in extreme weather events and the arrival of invasive parasites, the effects of global warming a putting Italina agriculture to the test. How can we react?

A new agricultural model is needed, one that doesn’t only involve farmers, but politicians and all members of society.

Speaker:

  • Stefano Liberti, journalist and writer. Among his books are Land grabbing (Minimum Fax) and The Lords of Food: Journey through the industrial food system that is destroying the planet. In 2019 he published The big shopping basket – Who decides what we eat.
