Our experience of food is made up of nuances determined by how it is cultivated, the ways in which it is served, and the numerous different significances we attach to it. Food education has to take account of who we are, of the country in which we live, and of the food scenarios in store in the future.

Only in this way can we develop the awareness needed to redefine our practices and regenerate our ecosystems. This Food Talk will feature the educational strategies tried and tested by the Slow Food Equilibrium Havana Community.

Speaker:

  • Geraldine Ezquerra, a member of the Slow Food Education network and a researcher in Sociology of the Environment and Food at the University of Havana.

Free entry while seats last. We advise you to arrive 10 minutes before the event starts to ensure a place.
