Destination? Spain! To discover the origin of local products.
We’ll learn about local varieties, such as the Catalan cabbage known as Col paperina (an Ark of Taste product), melón de Torres de Berrellén from Aragon (an Ark of Taste product) and xató, a typical Catalan sauce made with almonds, hazelnuts, breadcrumbs, vinegar, garlic, olive oil, salt and ñora peppers, served on escarola perrqueta (Ark of Taste) .
Speakers:
- Jesús María Sahún Lahoz (Chuma), works in the energy efficiency sector. He was appointed Delegate for Spain to the International Slow Food Congress in Pollenzo (July 16/17, 2022), member of SF Zaragoza active in the area with educational activities in local schools, promoter of the Ark of Taste, President of the Association Amigos del melón de Torres de Berrellén (product of the Ark of Taste).
- Anna Raventós Espacs, psychologist, member of the Slow Food del Garraf convivium (Cataluña), music therapist and educator at the Generalitat de Catalunya, she works in schools carrying out educational projects such as “Escola amb Projecte Psicoeducatiu Km0” and “Tomating.”
Free entry while seats last. We advise you to arrive 10 minutes before the event starts to ensure a place. There will be a small tasting at the end for which you may donate what you choose.
