What contribution can younger generations make to the revival of peripheral areas?

The regeneration of the periphery is fundamental for social equity and the provision of spaces of culture and inclusion for the young people in these areas. These melting pots of knowledge and tradition can experiment with one form of regeneration through gastronomic fusion.

One example is AuroraFood, where young cooks from the area of Aurora in Turin accompany us on a culinary journey that starts in the countries of origin and continues in the streets of Turin.

Speakers:

  • councilor for education, youth policy and urban regeneration projects for the City of Turin.
  • Amer Al-Taie, AuroraFood.

Moderator

  • Francesca Capello, association Nessuno.

Free entry while seats last. We advise you to arrive 10 minutes before the event starts to ensure a place.

Terra Madre Salone del Gusto is in Parco Dora, Turin, from September 22-26, 2022, with over 600 exhibitors and a series of workshops, conferences and tastings that show how we can regenerate our planet through food. #TerraMadre2022 is a Slow Food event. Free entry.
