The National Table on Food Systems plays a supportive role for the Italian Government to bring public positioning, interests and capacities of the Italian food supply chain to international fora, starting from the United Nations and G20.
Formed on the occasion of the 2021 Food Systems Summit, the Table brings together experts in this sector to collect and present good practices and successful experiences with the aim to highlight the positive relationship between food and territory, as well as sinergies between public and private sectors to provide new sustainable food and consumption models.
For the first time, the Table, chaired by Special Envoy for Food Security at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will be open to the public with the participation, among the others, of Slow Food Italy President Barbara Nappini, Slow Food International President Edward Mukiibi, and FAO Deputy Director General Maurizio Martina.
Remote speaker connection required. It will be registered. As a public session, the public may attend but not participate.
Terra Madre Salone del Gusto is in Parco Dora, Turin, from September 22-26, 2022, with over 600 exhibitors and a series of workshops, conferences and tastings that show how we can regenerate our planet through food. #TerraMadre2022 is a Slow Food event.
