General
Do I need a ticket for Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2022?
No! Entrance to Terra Madre Salone del Gusto is free in 2022! Besides the special events like Taste Workshops and Dinner Dates, tickets for which are on sale online, there’s no need to book anything in advance.
Where is Terra Madre Salone del Gusto being held in 2022?
Parco Dora. This is a large, ex-industrial area converted to green space in the northwest of the city, where we’ll be hosting the market, exhibition spaces dedicated to Biodiversity, Education and Advocacy, the enoteca (including Taste Workshops on wine), street kitchens and food trucks, and the stands of our partners.
There will be other Taste Workshops held at Eataly Lingotto, Nuvola Lavazza and Edit, while the Dinner Dates will be held at Eataly Lingotto.
Nearby to Parco Dora, the conferences are held in the Environment Park.
Do I need to take a Covid-19 test to enter Italy from abroad?
No. From June 1, 2022, there are no more entry requirements relating to Covid-19 for Italy, nor are there any activities restricted to holders of the Green Pass (vaccination certificate). There will, however, be a Medical Station at the event which offers rapid and molecular Covid-19 tests (for a fee).
How can I be a volunteer at Terra Madre?

Where can you buy tickets for events which still have places available?
The ticketed events in the Terra Madre program are on sale online until September 21, though many are already sold out. From September 22 to 26 you can buy any remaining tickets for these events at the Event Reception, situated near the Terra Madre Kitchen. The conferences at the Environment Park, which are free but require a ticket, will also be available here; all other events are free while seats lasts. We advise you to arrive early to ensure a place!
Can visitors bring animals?
Dogs are allowed, as long as they kept on a leash, though we would advise people not to bring easily-scared dogs that may be upset by the presence of a large number of people.
Will there be a Baby Pit Stop or Baby Parking?
Yes. As in all Slow Food events, we pay special care to welcome visiting families; as well as services for families curated by our friends from Giovani Genitori – where there’ll be an area for baby-changing and breastfeeding – there’s a soft play area for small children and reading sessions, too.
Will there be stands or activities dedicated to gluten-free products?
The AIC (Associazione Italiana Celiachia Piemonte Onlus) will be present with a street kitchen and a stand where chefs, students and exhibitors provide gluten-free food. The Gluten Free area is located at the entrance to the street kitchen area. Gluten-free bread and breadsticks are also available, on request, at the Taste Workshops.
Will the event still be held if it rains?
Yes.
