PIEDMONT REGION

The urgent need to consolidate the transition towards a new model of development also passes through paths of regeneration of  environments, nature, relationships and production processes of Piedmont.

The Regional Strategy for Sustainable Development represents the local translation of the principles of the 2030 Agenda and the reference context that supports the transition process, through the construction and implementation of coherent and integrated policies. Especially the agricultural, environmental, mobility and regeneration policies of urban areas, as well as the restoration of urban suburbs and their enhancement, also with a view to feeding as much as possible to “km 0” and in any case of local production.

The various activities, that Piedmont Region proposes at the Salone del Gusto, are coordinated within this vision and are structured to enhance, within the spaces and events proposed, content and insights on the process and its regeneration effects.
